Marros Sands
Posted on | February 22, 2010 | Comments Off
Marros Sands is located between Amroth and Pendine. It can’t be reached by car so is cut off from the main tourist beaches and very quiet. There are three ways of getting to this hidden beach. You can go to Marros village and walk down the bridleway and footpaths to the beach, or take the path from the east end of Amroth, or come over the hill from Morfa Bychan which is a cove next to Pendine. Whichever way you choose will involve a fair amount of walking.
There are the remains of an ancient forest that can be seen at low tide with roots still visible.
